Women of Type is my passion project that started in May of 2020 as an Instagram feature page and has since then blossomed into a community of over 100,000 people. The page, and now the overall community, exists to showcase work from women and nonbinary creatives in the type and lettering space.

The industry (like many) is not only extremely male-dominated, but heavily competitive in general. Since growing this community, I’ve had countless people reach out to me to let me know that they were hired for creative work via the page - and on the flip side I’ve had numerous art directors tell me that they’ve used the page as a way to find creatives to hire.

This community and this project has fulfilled me like no other, and I truly consider it one of my prouder accomplishments.
